Really interesting write up. I had no idea there was this much history behind the BHR Midpipe.
The details about the new found relationship with the patent holder are especially interesting.

I’m defiantly putting this on the WISH LIST of mods.

I’m getting tired of the over powering rasp provided by my RP Midpipe …. I can see the BHR Midpipe coming soon to a garage near ME!

We’ve tested the mid-pipe on an RX8 running the stock tune and to date it has not triggered a check engine light for the rear 02 sensor. Regarding smog testing, BHR cannot account for every condition that an RX8 will be running in or the various tunes that are used. As such, we have no way to say for sure that the DaveSport Performance Catalytic Converter will pass emissions. We offer the option because customers have asked for it in the past.

The blue wire is Moroso’s navy blue color. The red and black are the MSD Super Conductor Wire. There is no performance difference between either brand or color.

@jedi54 I'll see if Ray or Erick can get some pictures of the other wire versions so we can post them. At the time of the post we had not produced any versions with the new colors! We have had a small handful of special requests by local owners so we figured that we would offer it so people could customize one of the most widely used RX8 parts on the market!

As in the previous years the results won’t be posted until Modified has produced their article about the event. I don’t know any specifics on track times or the results of the competition. There were certainly a lot of problems with the various cars in the competition so it should be a great read.

I’m just mad that I missed the Go-Go dancing girls!!

I am working on a recap in my blog section which will have results for myself and Jeff which should be up in the next 24 hours.
